Imnul de stat - Limba noastrã has been since 1994 the national anthem of the Republic of Moldova. Before that, its official anthem was Desteaptã-te, române!, which is also the national anthem of Romania. The lyrics are from Alexei Mateevici (1888-1917) and the music was composed by Alexandru Cristea (1890-1942). The original poem contains twelve stanzas, five of which have been kept for the anthem.

Să ridice slava-n ceruri,
Să ne spiue-n hram și-acasă
Veșnicele adevăruri.
Limba noastra-i limbă sfântă,
Limba vechilor cazanii,
Care o plâng și care o cântă
Pe la vatra lor țăranii.
Înviați-vă dar graiul,
Ruginit de multă vreme,
Stergeți slinul, mucegaiul
Al uitării 'n care geme.
Strângeți piatra lucitoare
Ce din soare se aprinde -
Și-ți avea în revărsare
Un potop nou de cuvinte.
Răsări-va o comoară
În adâncuri înfundată,
Un șirag de piatră rară
Pe moșie revărsată.

That your language is too poor,
And you will see with what abundance
Flow the words of our precious country.
Our language is full of legends,
Stories from the days of old.
Reading one and then another
Makes one shudder, tremble and moan.
Our language is singled out
To lift praises up to heaven,
Uttering with constant fervour
Truths that never cease to beckon.
Our language is more than holy,
Words of homilies of old

In the homesteads of our folks.
Resurrect now this our language,
Rusted through the years that have passed,
Wipe off filth and mould that gathered
When forgotten through our land.

| Drapelul Republicii Moldova
Conform regulamentului cu privire la Drapelul de Stat aprobat prinHotarirea Parlamentului nr. 17-XII din 12 mai 1990, Vestile nr.5/93,1990, Drapelul de Stat al Republicii Moldova – Tricolorul – este simbolul oficial al Republicii Moldova. El simbolizeaza trecutul, prezentul si viitorul statului moldovenesc, reflecta principiile lui democratice, traditia istorica a poporului moldovenesc, egalitatea in drepturi, prietenia si solidaritatea tuturor cetatenilor republicii.

| STEMA DE STAT A REPUBLICII MOLDOVA (Regulamentul cu privire la Stema de Stat a fost aprobat prin Legea nr.337-XII din 3 noiembrie 1990, Vestile nr. 11/267, 1990)
Stema de Stat a Republicii Moldova reprezinta un scut taiat pe orizontala avind in partea superioara cromatica rosie, in cea inferioara – albastra, incarcat cu capul de bour avind intre coarne o stea cu opt raze. Capul de bour este flancat in dreapta de o roza cu cinci petale, iar in stinga de o semiluna conturnata. Toate elementele reprezentate in scut sint de aur (galbene). Scutul este plasat pe pieptul unei acvile naturale purtind in cioc o cruce de aur (acvila cruciala) si tinind in gheara dreapta o ramura verde de maslin, iar in stinga un sceptru de aur.

sau
trecutul - roșu;
